Collection: Château Rauzan-Ségla

Château Rauzan-Ségla is located in the French commune of Margaux-Cantenac in western France. The estate belongs to the Margaux appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region. Until 1994, the estate was known as Château Rauzan -Ségla.

With the first wine from Chateau Rauzan Segla—also known as the "Grand Vin"—the winery was admitted to the Bordeaux Classification in 1855. Since then, this red wine has been part of the Deuxième Grand Cru Classé. The classification of Bordeaux wines according to quality levels is intended to clarify the quality and price levels of the wines produced.

The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (54%), Merlot (41%), Petit Verdot (4%), and Cabernet Franc (1%) are cultivated on an area of approximately 52 hectares. Approximately 120,000 bottles of this "Grand Vin" are produced annually.

Château Rauzan-Ségla's second wine, "Ségla," is not part of the 2ème Grand Cru Classé. Approximately 120,000 bottles of this wine are released annually.
