Collection: Château Ducru-Beaucaillou

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou is located in the French commune of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in western France. The estate belongs to the Saint-Julien appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

With the first wine from Chateau Ducru Beaucaillou—also known as the "Grand Vin"—the winery was admitted to the Bordeaux Classification in 1855. Since then, this red wine has been part of the Deuxième Grand Cru Classé. The classification of Bordeaux wines according to quality levels is intended to clarify the quality and price levels of the wines produced.

The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Merlot (25%), and Cabernet Franc (5%) are cultivated on an area of approximately 52 hectares. Approximately 225,000 bottles of the "Grand Vin" and the second wine are produced annually.

Château Ducru-Beaucaillou's second wine, "La Croix de Beaucaillou," is not part of the 2ème Grand Cru Classé. Approximately 75,000 bottles of this wine are released annually.
