Château Belgrave is located in the French commune of Saint-Laurent-Médoc in the west of France. The winery belongs to the Haut-Médoc appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

With the first wine from Chateau Belgrave - also known as "Grand Vin" - the winery was included in the Bordeaux classification in 1855. Since then, this red wine has belonged to the Cinquième Grand Cru Classé. The classification of Bordeaux wine according to quality levels is intended to clarify the quality and price level of the wines grown.

The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (49%), Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (8%) and Petit Verdot (3%) are grown on an area of ​​around 53 hectares. Around 250,000 bottles of the "Grand Vin" are produced annually. However, Château Belgrave's second wine, "Diane de Belgrave", does not belong to the 5ème Grand Cru Classé. Around 100,000 bottles of this wine are produced.
