Château Léoville las Cases is located in the French commune of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the west of France. The winery belongs to the Saint-Julien appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

With the first wine from Chateau Leoville las Cases - also known as "Grand Vin de Léoville" - the winery was included in the Bordeaux classification in 1855. Since then, this red wine has belonged to the Deuxième Grand Cru Classé. The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (19%), Cabernet Franc (13%) and Petit Verdot (3%) are grown on an area of ​​around 98 hectares.
