Collection: Château Lagrange

Château Lagrange is located in the French commune of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the west of France. The winery belongs to the Saint-Julien appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

With the first wine from Chateau Lagrange - also known as "Grand Vin" - the winery was included in the Bordeaux classification in 1855. Since then, this red wine has belonged to the Troisième Grand Cru Classé. The classification of Bordeaux wine according to quality levels is intended to clarify the quality and price level of the wines grown.

The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (28%) and Petit Verdot (7%) are grown on an area of around 113 hectares. Around 270,000 bottles of the "Grand Vin" are produced annually. However, Château Lagrange's second wine "Les Fiefs de Lagrange" does not belong to the 3ème Grand Cru Classé. Around 370,000 bottles of this wine are bottled annually.

Four hectares of the vineyards are also used to produce a white wine. This white wine, which has been available on the market since 1997, is called "Les Arums de Lagrange" and is made from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc (60%), Sémillon (30%) and Muscadelle (10%).
