Collection: Château Magdelaine

Château Magdelaine was a French winery located in the commune of Saint-Émilion in western France. The estate belonged to the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation and was located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

With the first wine from Chateau Magdelaine—also known as "Grand Vin"—the winery achieved Premier Grand Cru Classé B status in the classification of Saint-Émilion wines in 1955. The winery retained this status until 2012.

Since Château Magdelaine was integrated into the Château Belair-Monange winery in 2012, no wines have been produced since then.

The approximately 11 hectares were once planted with Merlot (90%) and Cabernet Franc (10%) grapes. Approximately 35,000 bottles of this "Grand Vin" were released annually. However, Château Magdelaine's second wine, "Les Sanges de Magdelaine," never belonged to the 1st Grand Cru Classé B.
