Château Canon la Gaffelière is located in the French commune of Saint-Émilion in the west of France. The winery belongs to the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

In 1955, the winery was included in the classification of Saint-Émilion wines with the red wine from Chateau Canon la Gaffeliere. From 1955 to 2011, this red wine was part of the Grand Cru Classé. In 2012, Château Canon la Gaffelière was included in the Premier Grand Cru Classé B and has been in this quality level ever since. The classification of Bordeaux wine according to quality levels is intended to clarify the quality and price level of the wines produced.

The grape varieties Merlot (55%), Cabernet Franc (40%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%) are grown on an area of ​​around 19 hectares. Around 65,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is owned by the noble Neipperg family, as is La Mondotte and other wineries.
