Collection: Château Giscours

Château Giscours is located in the French commune of Labarde in the west of France. The winery belongs to the Margaux appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

With the first wine from Chateau Giscours - also known as "Grand Vin" - the winery was included in the Bordeaux classification in 1855. Since then, this red wine has belonged to the Troisième Grand Cru Classé. The classification of Bordeaux wine according to quality levels is intended to clarify the quality and price level of the wines grown.

The grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (53%) and Merlot (42%) are grown on an area of around 95 hectares. The remaining 5% is divided between Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Around 300,000 bottles of the "Grand Vin" are produced annually. However, the second wine from Château Giscours, "La Sirène de Giscours", does not belong to the 3ème Grand Cru Classé.
