Château Branaire-Ducru is located in the French commune of Saint-Julien-Beychevelle in the west of France. The winery belongs to the Saint-Julien appellation and is located in the Bordeaux wine-growing region.

With the first wine from Chateau Branaire Ducru - also known as "Grand Vin" - the winery was included in the Bordeaux classification in 1855. Since then, this red wine has belonged to the Quatrième Grand Cru Classé.
